FAQ's

I get a lot of the same questions from a lot of people so I'll try to answer some of the most common ones.

  1. I love your hair. How do you style it?
Thanks so much! I cut off several inches of my hair back in October 2013 and I'm really glad I did. It's fun to do a big change from time to time. Currently, I'm growing it back out. Here's a video on how I style it. :)

     2.   How old are you?

I'm 25.

     3.   Has anyone told you you look like Faith Hill?

Ummmm, yes, all the time. She's my twin. :)

I hope to age as well as her, too!

4.     Who takes your pictures?

My 6 year old son, Robey! :) Funny thing is, if my husband is home, I'll ask him to do it, but I'm usually not as impressed with his angle. Robey is a natural at photography! haha

5.      Do you ever feel awkward having your pictures taken?

Heck. No. I've had my share of insecurities in the beginning, but now I could care less. Most likely, I'll never see 'passer-byers' again and if I do(like neighbors and such) they'll get the picture that's just my thing. It's always better to to be COMPLETELY confident in what you do, rather than looking insecure about your own hobby. Own it, live it, love it!

6.     You're homeschooling your son, right? What's it like?

I am. He is just about to finish up Kindergarten. I was homeschooled with my 5 siblings so I was already 'accustomed' to how it goes. Kindergarten isn't legally required so we've been lax about it this first year. I know every mom's advice is different, but if you're interested in Homeschooling, I truly recommend getting involved in a co-op or mom group. It helps keep you accountable and you can give your kids a good social time. We decided to be a part of Classical Conversations. It's different than typical homeschooling as the take the classical approach. You can learn more about it here. We meet once a week with the parent in the class so you can be a part of your child's learning experience. We've gotten so many great lifelong friends and are excited to do it next year as well. We supplement Math and Phonics/reading at home. I'm going to my first "Mom approved" event: The Homeschool Convention. Dun. Dun. Dun. Apparently, it's the ultimate Disney World for homeschool moms. It'll be fun to get away with my friends with no kids, and possibly sneaking out of a few seminar sessions to hit the millenia mall! ;)

  1. I myself would like to start a blog, but don't know if there's any income gains from having your very own blog. Is that so? Thanks :) I love your IG pictures!!
